M80A1 Mjolnir II SEPv3

5th Gen Main Battle Tank

Not really a drunken build this time, just modifying things on the Mjolnir II to make it handle better than previous iterations. I also tried my hand at modeling camouflage netting using ASCII characters on labels. If the M80A1 SEPv2 was an apex predator, consider this the perfected reaper

General Description

As is always the goal, refinements were made to the M80A1 Mjolnir II SEPv2 to improve it further. The Mjolnir II is based upon Spartan Ballistic's "Agile Step Forward" MBT, the M20A5 Mjolnir, and it sought to improve upon the problems faced by our "Refined Warrior", the M78 Skofnung. Such refining was conducted, and the result came in the form of the "Perfected Reaper", the M80A1 SEPv3.
Visual model/roleplay based changes made compared to the SEPv2 variant include the following: Enhanced multi-fuel turbine engine capable of 1,700 horsepower for a 50.15 ton chassis (33.9HP/ton), ERA applied to turret face, Heightened DIRCM/LWS mount on turret rear, altered/improved turret handling and traverse speed, and addition of a new experimental feature: radar absorbent camouflage netting. Changes made to account for SimplePlanes aesthetic include: Fully modeled MRE box (CASE A MENU 1-12), increased fuel amount to sustain longer engine audio times, spare road wheel partially mounted on HVAC, fuel jugs on turret bustle rack, and the cammie netting was made using Labels.

Alternate Livery

If you wish to give the Mjolnir II the Spartan Ballistics desert livery, follow this paint guide!
#D2B16F will be the HEX code for the palette slot in the very top left of the palette, leave "Metallic" at 100%, change smoothness to 30%.
#9F844A is the secondary color, taking the place of the palette slot right below the first. Leave "Metallic" at 100%, change the smoothness to 30%.
#002E00 will be the HEX code for the palette slot on top row, 2nd from the right. Change "Metallic" to 100% and "Smoothness" to 25%.

Yeah, this is basically just a copy of the M80A1 SEPv2, but I wasn't happy with how it handled, felt it could look better, and also wanted to experiment more with cammie netting since I touched a bit on it with the SEPv2. This is my current highest part count ever integrated into any build of mine (As of upload date of 28 MAR 2025), and I feel extraordinarily happy with the results. As usual, feel free to leave an upvote and a spotlight (if capable), and I encourage any feedback and constructive criticism, no matter how small, to be left in the comments below. Thank you for checking out my schtoof, and I hope you enjoy!
