Goldfinch
An export variant of the Finch, this particular fighter was part of a batch sent to to the ROCAF to replace most of their obsolete biplanes that were not able to climb fast enough to intercept Japanese bomber formations. This aircraft proved popular with many Chinese aircrews, with it's easy maintenance and a good amount of power, but had it's drawbacks, such as a slow turn rate and it's easily combustible airframe.
This was actually a prototype of the the Finch to test out it’s airframe before putting on the new canopy. It was originally going to use this engine but I felt it need a better one on the final one so I upped it’s horsepower. I wanted to put the prototype to good use so I then repainted it into a ROCAF plane since the ROCAF used the same striped rudder. Enjoy!

@Stanmich However expect more Finches in the future
@TurtlesThatFly yeah, the Goldfinch was only one airframe, and it was never put into production.
@Stanmich dang, never knew about that one, guess it’s kind of obscure
I think Gloster beat you to this name.
