The Rumtreiber(Marauder) is a main battle tank used by the Royal Marine Corps. Developed in conjunction with the Army’s Manticore MBT, the Rumtreiber entered service several years later than its Army counterpart.

Design
The Rumtreiber is designed to perform several roles, with the design of the vehicle reflecting upon it. It’s designed to be an MBT, APC, engineering vehicle, and other roles. It has modular, heavy composite armor on the front and sides, especially on the turret, which can be easily replaced when damaged. The rear compartment can be configured to carry either 8 personnel, 6 heavily armed soldiers, extra fuel tanks, extra ammunition, a toilet for long duration missions, equipment and crew for engineering roles, or a mix of all. Due to the large size of the hull, the turret was made as low profile as possible to keep the silhouette of the tank from being too tall. Though the driver has his own hatch, it is difficult to use and most of the time the driver would get in and out using the rear door and jumping through the turret basket.

Firepower
For the main armament, the Rumtreiber uses the GR.155/30A2 smoothbore gun-launcher. Though not as effective in anti-tank roles, the GR.155/30A2 can use APFSDS, HEAT, HESH, ATGM, and other special rounds. Though it is designed with the GR.155/30A2, it can be reconfigured to utilize the GR.155/60A1 to convert it to the Jagtreiber, or the standard GR.130/55A4 smoothbore cannon. For secondaries it has three CROWS, two .50 heavy machine guns and one 7.62mm minigun.

Armor
Majority of the Rumtreiber’s armor consists of modular composite blocks allowing quick repair and replacement when damaged. The front of the turret has large inserts of depleted uranium both to add protection and to counter-balance the rear of the turret. There’s also plates on the sides of the turret to act as spaced armor. The front of the turret has 3000mm of composite armor. It uses the Lyre hard kill APS and the Barricade Mk.4 jammers/dazzlers.

Powerplant
The Rumtreiber, even with its immense weight of over 84.5 tons, can reach high top speeds thanks to its compact 2,100hp turbine engine. This comes at a cost of using too much fuel, with most Rumtreibers having an additional fuel tank inside the hull.

Here’s the Jagdtreiber. I wanted to upload it as a separate variant but removing some parts and adding a new gun is kinda lazy so I decided not to.

A simple tank, please enjoy!
