2030 London Bus Concept

2.9 years ago
My concept for a new London double decker design which is exceptionally round, wallowy and big...It has gull wing doors, driverless operation and rear wheel steering like an uber expensive car but featured here for the price of a bus journey! It's so weird it broke my 3rd picture
Gull wing doors
downstairs seating
upstairs seating
I do appreciate it is way too wide for London's streets but function followed form here and it does have independent suspension, full interior and working lights etc.

@ColonelCanada thank you for upvoting, spotlight and the follow
@GrizzlitnCFSP I used to follow you on my old account here - glad to see you're still building
@TDCraft you are welcome 😊😊
@GrizzlitnCFSP thank you for upvoting
@Chancey21 Thank you for the very kind offer it's definitely something I'll take up in the near future if I ever do something high speed and futuristic that needs active suspension as I know next to nothing about funky trees
@DEN12345 thank you for upvoting and follow
@scratch thank you for upvoting
@DGXHunterBR thank you for upvoting and for following me
@DeGebra thank you for spotlighting

Hahah. Well I haven’t built anything in over 2 years either so you’re in good company. Looking forward to it. Unless the part count is more than 1k, in which case my poor little phone will not run it. GOD I want to get on SP VR. @Chancey21
Your telling me my last posted original build was 2.2 years ago? Soon sorta @Hyattorama
That’s great! — when are you going to post a new build? lol @Chancey21
I would love to help out with any active suspension project, I have made many @TDCraft @Hyattorama
Sounds like a challenge! My knowledge about funky trees is also extremely limited, though I was able to incorporate a little of it into that warbird build by borrowing and modifying some programming from other people’s builds. I’m sure that with a little work I could learn how to at least do some of the basics. You’d have to describe to me what exactly it is you want the active suspension to do before I could have an idea of whether I could help lol @TDCraft
@Hyattorama TBH i still have complete ignorance of how funky trees works but hopefully you have some ideas because i've always wanted to have some kind of trick suspension... as for the triple decker it's the same length and width as an actual UK Double decker but obviously does have an extra 4.5ft (1.4M) height for the extra deck which will change with suspension being added (might be able to shave more off that height)
Ooh, triple decker! lol. I hope you put fancy suspension on it… you know with the Funky Trees function you could program/build some pretty awesome active suspension, like I think the NBFL has irl, no? @TDCraft
@Hyattorama Thanks for kind words - it has way way too much power (am impatient by nature) but will definitely turn the setting to 2 rather than 11. The doors were going to just be Activate2 but I forgot to implement..Cameras in different seating positions is a great idea which I'm going to add to my triple decker bus concept i'm working on
For sure I think it’s a really cool concept! I had a couple thoughts if it’s of interest to you — 1) I thought it had too much power… I set it to 150 and I thought the acceleration was more realistic. 2) maybe you could change the input on the doors to [Activate4] for convenience? 3) I think it’d be nice if you added one or two cameras inside so we could get a perspective from one or two would-be passengers in different spots… other than that I think it’s really creative, would be a really neat thing to see this driving around the streets of London @TDCraft
@Hyattorama thanks for upvoting bud
