Meyer J13G -"Hrunting"

Auto Credit Based on ahappyape's Meyer J9F - "Hrunting"
NOTE: This has had an update posted since - so if you like your planes slightly insane - download this version if not - the updates the way to go :-)
V2 public release. Much improved pitch - (best when at full speed 1500mph) thanks to new floating engines . The roll is still savage as ever - so a gentle touch is needed!
My biggest gripe is that I can seem to get decent YAW - so any one got the know how and want to take a look?
And when you get to roughly 10% fuel - you pretty much will loose control - as the COM will have moved too far back. But all good apart from that :-D
Love to know your thoughts - thanks !

3,460 MkenzJK. I got a Yaw on my download but it really just acts like a less sensitive roll. Should I upload? @ahappyape9.7 years ago

3,460 MkenzGreat plane. Trying to make Yaw but thanks for making my job in that a lot harder by using structural wings. @ahappyape9.7 years ago

1,702 ZFM99Absolutely amazing. Flies like a dream, my only problem is how touchy the roll is. Other than that, amazing work.9.7 years ago

38.8k hypnotoad@ahappyape any time at all chap. I could have said more but thankfully I didn't given it would have taken you a week to decrypt. Agreed on reducing the roll if possible, saying that it proves really useful at lowspeeds is only totally savage at higher speeds, so there should be a compromise met somewhere. Yea, pitch is a swine, as you say the COM will always be an issue to overcome, especially if you use the modded fuel tanks I do to give better control to weight control placement. There is little I can suggest on improvements. Still can't get over the roll!! Would it be possible le to build two sections to move up together to produce lift, same principle as the roll mechanism but toward the rear acting together instead in opposition? Just a thought. As for yaw I recentlly had some very yaw like side effects produces by some roll control surfaces centered very close to the COM, tightly pact very close to the fuselage. Not the this would really help as you would have to use roll to yaw and would be confusing to fly but perhaps this might lead you somewhere. Again all the best9.7 years ago

11.3k ahappyape@hypnotoad I understand ! Thanks for taking the time to be so in depth :-). Roll wise - I would actually like to reduce how savage it is - it is wayyy too much for my liking ! Pitch is always gonna be hard - especially using the fuel tank to balance it. The COM already moves so much during flight due to that. Would like to see what @zfm99 makes of it. And if he can land it - I can't! :-)9.7 years ago
