Coeval

Main Battle tank produced by the Belgan Federation for the Federation Armored Troops

Coeval has become a tank developed in partnership with Pionier Dynamics Land Systems, with the University of Modern Sciences undertaking the research of new armor technologies.

The design philosophy is a purebred frontline tank designed entirely for Tank vs. Tank battles.

Although this feature is praised by many experts, it has flaws that can be a shame for a modern tank, the first of which is the inability of its turret to turn backwards.

Development

Towards the end of 2022 and the occupation of Isido, many countries began to embargo the Federation as a result of the Federation's aggressive and invading foreign policies.

The Federation army, which had to constantly arm and stay strong because of the Hexman Doctrine, naturally took economic blows.

Meanwhile, maintenance of MBT-22M2s became very difficult due to parts made by foreign countries.

It was also revealed that the material used in the frontal and turret armors did not provide superior protection against modern tank guns.

Therefore, MBT-22M2s suffered heavy losses against Isido tanks and many tankers died in these tanks. Also, in tank battles on the borders of Ospela, MBT-22M2s suffered heavy losses against Ospela Leopards and many battles were lost, so the occupation was paused for a long time.

That's why the federation quickly sent MBT-22M2s into the modernization process.

However, the "Coeval" prototype, which Pionier presented to the state in 2017 but lost against MBT-22M2, started to attract attention in the Federation Army and Coeval production started.

General characteristics

Firepower:

Coeval equipped with 120mm Crewler L/100-M2 gun
This gun is specially made from scratch for Tank vs. Tank battles.
Thanks to advanced ASATA bullets, ASATA bullets can be fired without increasing the gun caliber.

Crewler URGS (Unmanned Remote Gun System) on top of the turret easily neutralizes infantry and lightly armored vehicles while inflicting significant damage to medium armored vehicles

Coeval has two of the rare Foreign-made weapons, the M2HB Submachine Gun, in the Federation inventory.
These two guns can be used by the Tank Commander and the loader.

Armor

The armor contains an advanced version of the element "Belganium", a very rare element, 98.2 of which is found within the territory of the Federation, thanks to the research of the Academy of Modern Sciences.

Belganium element is known for being extremely light and strong for its lightness, but still not light enough to be used in armors.

Thanks to the work of the Academy, the strength of this element was further increased and it was named Belganium+.

The ultralight element Belganium+ was used in this tank, but the tank's slowness allows for a surprising estimation of how armored this tank is.

The armor on the side skirts of the tank is normal ceramic armor and its not as durable as the front armor
