Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's Bandit Aircraft Group Viper Fighter Mk 2
Controls are identical to previous aircraft. The Viper F-7D is a small upgrade to the Viper F-7C, being slightly faster than its predecessor due to revised air intakes. The refuelling boom has been strengthened and the radar upgraded to the more advanced M81 radar used on the Renegade II.

That was intentional. In fact, it receives its name from the F-16. Pilots refer to it as the "Viper" because it looked like the Colonial Viper from Battlestar Galactica and because it sounds cooler than "Fighting Falcon", which sounds like a high-school American football team. @Spikerya
