So I was tinkering with the XML file of the cannon and I turned up the damage scale go 10000000 and the explosion scale to 100 and the launch volume to 4 and yeah... I shot it and just before my game froze I saw the target indicator showing the USS Beast and the destroyers in the air! Happy game crash.
