About the history of Bombardier CSeries CS100&CS300

Prior to the development of the C series, Bombardier Aerospace launched the brjx program, that is, Bombardier regional jet expansion (Bombardier regional jet expansion), which is a larger aircraft than CRJ. The cabin adopts a wider fuselage and 2+3 seat arrangement, with a passenger capacity of 80 to 120 people. It is positioned between the regional aircraft and the trunk aircraft, but later its rival Embraer launched an embraer-170 and embraer-190 that are better than brjx, Forced the cancellation of brjx plan.
As early as 2004, Bombardier Aerospace announced that it would develop a new c-series airliner larger than CRJ to replace the cancelled brjx plan, which is expected to be put into service in 2010. This will be the first time that Bombardier Aerospace will compete directly with the narrow body airliners of Boeing and Airbus, the two major aircraft groups. In April, 2005, Bombardier Aerospace announced two models of the C series, c-110 and c-130,110 and 130, respectively, which means that their passenger capacity reaches 110 and 130 respectively. The fuselage is manufactured by China aviation industry first corporation. Like Boeing 787 and A350, the fuselage is made of composite materials, the passenger cabin is designed with 3+2 seat arrangement, and the engine is hung under the main wing, which is similar to the combined type of Boeing 717 and 737. However, no order has been received since the launch of C series, which made Bombardier Aerospace suspend the R & D work of C series on January 31, 2006, but retain its R & D team in order to promote to the outside world and share future R & D risks [6][7]. Due to the suspension of the c-series, Bombardier Aerospace announced on February 18 that it would develop an airliner CRJ-1000 longer than the CRJ-900.
On January 31, 2007, Bombardier Aerospace announced that the R & D work of the C series would continue. In November, it announced that the C series would adopt Pratt Whitney engines. It was expected that the C series would be put into service in 2015. The C series would have larger windows and luggage racks, and the fuel consumption and operating cost would be 20% and 15% less respectively. On July 13, 2008, at the Farnborough air show, Bombardier Aerospace announced that the C series had received 30 confirmed orders and 30 intended orders from Lufthansa, and officially launched its research and development work. The avionics system of C series is supplied by Rockwell Collins, and the production line will be carried out in the factory north of Montreal.
On the morning of September 16, 2013, Bombardier's first C-series aircraft ftv1 successfully made its maiden flight. The CS100 took off from Mirabel airport in Quebec at 09:55 and returned at 12:25. On May 29 of the following year, the engine of the test plane 1 caught fire during the ground test and needed to be grounded completely. After investigation, it was found that there was a problem with the lubrication system of the engine. On September 7, 2014, the test plane with the newly improved engine resumed its test flight. On February 27th, 2015, the first test flight of the larger CS300 was successful.

The aircraft was delivered on January 20th, 2016 and served as a test platform on March 3rd, 2016 for Bombardier Aerospace. Its fuselage registration number is C-FFDO, and painted with the coating of AirBaltic. It participated in the Zhuhai Air Show held from November 1 to 6, 2016. Until June 2018, Because, airbus industry purchased 50.01% shares of Bombardier CSeries in October 2017 and ended the transaction in July 2018, C-FFDO also became the test aircraft of Airbus a220-300, It was also painted with Airbus industry's test coating, and it was also performed with other aircraft at the airbus industry 50th anniversary flight show.

@Brololxd Because I found that there was still too much space between some parts of the last work and the fuselage, and I could not change the file, so I had to re release it.
