in 1969 sukhoi designed a plane to go alongside the MIG-21 so The sukhoi B.236 was born and in 1970 it was first tested and started production a few months later sadly, only 753 were built due to the design being outdated 500 were sent to the north vietnamese airforce and 67 were sent to the PLAAF

@VeryPlain true, I get it. Just my suggestion, if you want to make it more realistic, you could remove the side intakes. also make the front fuselage a bit wider.

Lol, I like the ending of your story - how they are end up in PLAAF. My suggestion, if you had intake like MiG21, you can remove the side intakes which I did before.
