The grifter is a land vehicle designed to creep around and attack other land-based targets. With the gear retracted, the Grifter sits low to the ground, and swivels its cockpit around with roll and VTOL to lock on its inferno missiles which can be fired individually, or in groups of 3 or 5 for attacking ships close to shore. The missiles fire straight up and complete a wide arc to clear terrain and improve hit chances. However, this arc also gives the grifter a minimum range where targets too close to it can't be hit. But it has three rocket pods for dealing with close targets.
