Description
Released in 1980 The MBT-70A2 Export is the export version of the MBT-70A2, Originally based of the MBT-70A1 many improvements have gone into the tank over the 10 years it has been in service, the tank is armed with a slightly downgraded 183mm L/45 smoothbore gun, 2 30mm Autocannons with 1 serving as the coaxial gun mounted on the left of the main gun, and a 14.5mm Heavy Machine Gun for the loader, the other improvements to the tank were its new engine the Lutzow TCE 3900, the Shturm 1A Soft kill APS, Ksuaver ERA Blocks, a new ballistics computer, and 2nd Generation Thermals and Night Vision with digital display for the gunner, driver, and TC.
The tank although visually similar to the MBT-70A2 the export version doesnt have access to TLATGMs(Tank Launched ATGMs).
