KSS Admiral Ernest Korner is a Battlecruiser built for the Royal Equestrian Navy, and currently operated by the Royal Sovereign Navy. She was the lead ship of the Admiral II Class Battlecruisers.

The Class was a re-ordered versions of the earlier Admiral I Class Battlecruisers which were armed with heavy caliber guns. Their main armament is missiles.

Development

The Admiral I Class Battlecruisers were built under the Marineorden von 2070 and after the settled debate between the admiralties. The first ship, Admiral Winter Flake, was launched in 2084. the second ship, Admiral Hood, was launched in 2087. In 2088, the Admiralty decided to re-order the five planned Admiral I Class to be re-ordered as an entirely new class which will be the new missile platform that an fulfill all around missions. The Government gave approval and the five ships were renamed Admiral II Class. The first ship to be laid down was Admiral Ernest Korner, she was launched in 2093.

There are two types of Battlecruisers exist in Great Country, Bombardment Type and Missile Type. Admiral II Class is one of the modern type Battlecruisers as their entire armament is based around missiles. Missile Type Battlecruisers are the most powerful surface combatant that have entered service surpassing Battleships. They can join Strike Groups and act as it's Flagships. They can also act as escorts in a Carrier Group thanks to their large platform which house various defense missiles.
