The AS-17 rapier was a light naval attack aircraft meant for close carrier support operations. It was based off the Vought F7U Cutlass, but improved on the design. The Rapier has since been replaced by the AS-28 and AS-14B aircraft, but is flown by some Avlanchian National Guard wings.
