Background
Utilizing electronic ignition to get the highest possible firerate. Able to dispense 40mm rounds at more than 3,000 Rounds per minute, along with the ability to slow it to any fire rate below said number. The Metalstorm is easy to reload, only requiring releasing the spent "magazine" and adding a new one then closing the hatch, it can be reloaded in under 5 seconds. The Metalstorm can maintain a consistent fire rate that exceeds any other Mortar system. Larger caliber mortars are also possible with this kind of system.
