Su-75 "Femboy"

The Su-75 "Checkmate" is a russian next gen fighter. If I'm correct, no Su-75 had been built yet aside from a mockup. First flight is planned to be in 2023(I doubt).

PS: What is the story behind the nickname "Femboy"? I'd really like to know.

Right, so neither the Checkmate nor Femboy are the official NATO reporting names. "Checkmate" is the name used by russian Propoganda, however literally the only part of naming conventions it got right was having two syllables.

r/noncredible defense, being the beautiful people they are, opted to dub it the Su-75 Femboy, which doesnt quite fit naming conventions ever so slightly but as the saying goes "#### it we ball".

As of yet, there is no official western name, only a russian nickname they gave it on unveiling, which isnt how reporting names work but oh well, the plane will probably literally never fly because its well... Russia we're talking about.

"Femboy" comes from the Reddit community NonCredibleDefense. They opted as a joke to refer to the Su-75 as "femboy" rather than its official designation.
