The F-108 is a Cold War era interceptor, that in real life never got into production

In the PEAverse, money doesn't matter, so the F-108 effectively reached production as a fearsome interceptor. It didn't see much action in America, but he managed to repel Soviet bombers from other European countries on several occasions (albeit none involving hostility). He was considered one of the better Century Series fighters, albeit never firing his guns, but his friends jokingly referred to him as "Family Guy" due to having one of the more vivid families among most planes, specifically the A-5 Vigilante as his cousin (twice removed), and later on the XB-70, who is his nephew. To this day, we have no idea who Rapier's brother in question is, though rumors have it, that the XB-70 is actually his son.
Also, the F-108 may or may not like bagels.
