Yamato Class Experimental Battleship
A non-canon starship design from Star Trek: Klingon Academy, the Yamato Class experimental battleship lives up to its name. The Yamato Class was designed to replace the Federation II Class dreadnought, which had underwhelming performance during the Four Years War. Boasting 24 assault phaser banks and 12 photon torpedo tubes (at least on this Simpleplanes model) the Yamato Class can reduce almost anything to rubble or wreckage at an alarming rate. With two Excelsior Class secondary hulls, the Yamato Class can safely power all of its weapons and shields albeit with additional matter and antimatter usage from the second warp core. A massive impulse array between the secondary hulls gives this ship an impressive top speed for its size, and the 4 warp nacelles can propel the ship out of danger at a moment's notice. Although the design seems similar to the Proxima Class battleship, the Yamato Class seems to be based on the TOS era Langley Class battleship.

@Embruher I have a few ideas for more trek ships, and I'll look into those pre-federation designs as well.
Please keep making more, I’d like to see a Saladin and/or any older designs before starfleet existed. Maybe you could even make a few of your own designs if you haven’t already!
