This is not an entry for the challenge, but I make the airplane to finish the story and I´m trying to follow the cahllenge rules.

After some testing with both designed airplanes, the engineers of arado discover that both the E555 and the TEW 16 doesnt have the minimum range to escort succesfully the airplanes, with a range in worst case escenario of 1800 km an 1000 km respectively (This data is from a test i make in the game, it can be with a range of aprox +- 50 km in the Tew 16 and +- 100 km in the E555) even if the consumption was the half the range was lacking so to solve this problem they make a third airplane.
They take another bomber and adapt it to be capable of air to air refueling, using 2 more BMW 028 for emergency situations, putting more armor in all the airplane and upgrading the tail turret and using a video sistem so the copilot use both turrets this aiprane can be a massive and very small tanker.

AG1= Activate refuel probe
AG2= Turn on the secondary engines
AG8= Turn off the TV/Deactivat Gyro

Tha airplane is truly very hard to kill, I test it using the @Mumpsy Focke-Wulf Fw 199Y Nashorn because for some reason the guns are like cannons and in one or two shots youre down, anyway here´s the results
