M28 SHIELD MOBILE ARMORED SHORT-RANGE AIR DEFENSE SYSTEM

A mobile SHORAD system developed on the Bullozeee Industries MBT-01 main battle tank platform and designed to complement armored units with air defense capabilities. Equipped with the SIDACOR-90A SHORAD system.

Lore

The development of the SIDACOR-90 air defense system culminated in the M28 Shield. In 1990, the Forze Armate issued a request of a new mobile air defense system to protect ground units close-on, and General Instruments was chosen as the prime contractor. In actuality, the development of the SIDACOR-90 took almost the entire development process, with the M28 Shield tested and approved just 2 months before the first delivery in 1992. Different to its brother M450 Guardian, however, is that the Shield is designed to complement Campania's armored units with sufficient air defense systems.

Controls (besides the ones already on the truck):
AG1 : position search radar (put it up)
AG2 : activate search radar (spin it)
Roll: turret traverse
