The HT-20F Annihilatior is the most powerful tank in the Arsenian Army arsenal. Equipped with a powerful 140mm smoothbore cannon capable of piercing almost any tank armor in the world. It's armor is one of the strongest being made up of 3000mm of ceramic armor and further protected by heavy ERA and Active protection system. The tank is primarily used for defense of the arsenian overseas territories and colonies.

Development
In 1978 it was decided that the HT-14 Vindicator tank was to be replaced. This was due to the old age of the tank and new technology being discovered and implement in tanks. A Procurement program for new a new heavy tank was initiated. For this new tank 3 companies was selected to collaborate for its development, the companies were Lazerus corp, Tyruza industries, and Akaves Heavy Industries. These company would complete their design in 1980 and the 1st prototype begun testing in 1982. The prototype would be equipped with the new HWK-140/42 cannon, at the time one of the most powerful. The first prototype was primarily used as a testbed for the new gun and engine, while the 2nd prototype was used for testing of the new armor. Testing would conclude in late 1985 and mass production would begin shortly after. The first batch would be designated as the HT-20C, it featured large amount of protection to ensure the survival of the crew and the powerful 140mm to destroy anything that pose a threat.

History
In 1988 political tension and a series of unfortunate accident in Africa would explode in a full scale continental war. All three superpower would involve themselves in an attempt to expand power and create puppet governments. At the time Arsenia possess 2 allies in the area, Druida and Testereon. Arsenia would also use its overseas territories of Hard Point and Kusteron. While Ordosa and Ursea would launch several large scale attack deep in to the continent, the Arsenian detachment would primarily be task with defending previously held territories. To effectively defend the territories it was decided to send the 22nd, 55th and 43rd Heavy Armored Division.

Siege of Lagoda
The city of lagoda is a key logistics hub for the Arsenia region in the area due to its railways. Guarding it was the 155th heavy tank battalion and a friendly local militia group. At the morning of 22nd September 1988 a major push by ordosan back armies managed to break through the arsenian defense line. Several attempt at destroying the armies failed and a defensive line was established in lagoda. In total there would be 3 armored regiment heading towards lagoda, these regiment would be equipped with 300 T-72 and 150 T-80 tank.

The ordosan army would reach the outskirts of Lagoda in the late hours of 24th September 1988 and prepare to assault the city in the next day. The arsenian Garrison would comprise of 150 tank with 100 of them being the HT-20C heavy tank. In the morning twilight of 25th September the ordosan tanks begun rising above the dunes of the dessert. Their tracks picking up sand and causing a large sandstorm behind them. The HT-20s are already in position for long range gun fights. The first shot was fired by the heavys at 09:31 towards the incoming horde of tanks, the shot penetrate without much trouble and destroying the tank immediately. Follow-up shoot began coming from the other HT-20s their range superiority allows them to destroy 30 tanks before being fired upon. The T-80s and T-72s began responding but they lack sufficient range to effectively do much of anything. Heavy losses mount of the ordosan side but soon they were in range. The Annihilator began taking hits but their armor would allow them to continue on fighting. By the afternoon the ordosan have already loss 230 of their tanks while only taking out 12 of the HT-20s even though they have the city surrounded they wasn't able to stop combat supplies from being transported by train to the city. As a result the Garrison of the city would not run out of ammo and supply. By 19:48 local time it was decided to pull back their armies before they themselves were encircled.

Present
The HT-20 would see it self being continually updated throughout its service eventually resulting in the HT-20F OTC (Open Terrain Combat) with it being fitted with advance electronic warfare system such as jammers and powerful communication suits. The tank would keep it's current job as a heavily armored guardian. The tank is still one of the best protected in the world, but advancement such as the 140mm avalon and the 155mm of the Ordosan would challenge its reign. It's design is still being developed with the HT-20G potentially being a large step forward for the design. Currently several tank challenge the Annihilatior's crown such as the Abrams-X, 155mm equipped Armata, and the KF-51 panther. The rise of drone combat would push the HT-20 to be equipped with anti drone measures such as 40mm airburst and advance jamming suits.

Future
Currently there is no concrete plan to retire the Annihilatior, but a new tank program was launched in 2018 and planned to see a production vehicle in 2028. The HT-20 is planned to still be in service up until the 2030s and would receive combat upgrades until then.

Design : HT-20F [OTC]
The tank is equipped with a 1700 hp engine allowing for good speed across most terrain. It uses a HWK 140/42 smoothbore gun with a automated bussel autoloader and a standard coaxial machine gun. It primarily uses APFSDS rounds for anti tank and a large HE for infantry and lightly armored vehicles. The tank would usually be mounted with 2x Hykorn Bulwark 40mm remote weapon station and the Beskyetter active protection system. The tank would be covered in KPA 4, KPA 5, and KPA 6 heavy ERA. Even with the heavy ERA the tank still uses large amounts of heavy ceramics armor, this pushed the tank's weight up to 89 tons. To give further protection the tank is equipped with a large assortment of jammers and electronic warfare equipment. The tank is equipped with horizontal and vertical stabilizer (kind of). Smoke launchers allow the tank to conceal it self and allow it to reposition.
