Mitsubishi F1M Type Zero Observation Seaplane

This is a replica of the Japanese F1M, a short-range catapult-launched float-biplane used by the Japanese Navy primarily for reconnaissance. It was the last biplane built for and used by the Japanese Navy. This replica features accurately-tuned guns, including a movable rear gun, 2 132 pound bombs, an open canopy, flaps, working floats, and a ground-takeoff dolly (which user Xanavi graciously let me include in my build).

Operation instructions:
AG1 detaches the dolly
AG2 enables the turret to be moved and fired
AG8 locks up the elevators and flaps, and shuts off the forward guns (important for using the rear gun)
VTOL operates flaps (not very useful), as well as the side to side motion of the rear gun
Trim moves the rear gun up and down, and also trims the elevators.

To take off from the ground, push throttle to full, and accelerate using the dolly. Once you exceed 100 mph, pull back and detach the dolly. Done correctly, you should be able to lift off of it easily. It may catch, but you should be able to shake it off if it does.
To take off from water, detach the dolly, and let it sink. Then, set throttle to 50%, and and hold back the stick until you lift away from the water.
Landing on the water again can be done, but it is pretty difficult. Try to use a nose-up stall to set it down onto the water at low speed. High speed splashdowns are very likely to flip you.
Landing on land is nearly impossible.
To use the rear gun, set your elevator trim to a very slight nose-up tendency, then lock up the elevator with AG8. Turn on the rear gun with AG2, then assume the gun's camera view. Control it with VTOL and trim. You still have roll control, so use banking to keep you level. With enough practice, you will be able to fly smoothly and use the rear gun effectively at the same time. Just don't shoot off your own tail.
One last thing to note: The plane is engineered with very close CoM and CoL. Do not pitch down too hard, as the plane will enter an uncontrollable outside loop, which can send the plane into a nasty spin.

EDIT: I forgot to match the primary color of the engine underneath the cowling to match the cowling above. Consider fixing this.

@ACMECo1940 That's the allied reporting name, yes. The Japanese never called them that though. To them, it was called the 三菱 F1M 零式観測機.

@RailfanEthan I finished that floatplane I was working on. I eventually figured out how to get it to float and take off. Splashdown is still tough though.

@Xanavi Here is what I used your dolly for. Again, I thank you.
