Lockheed Martin F-35 B Lightning II by SR
With the new gizmos and mods etc., I just had to revisit the F35, clearly my favourite jet fighter...
Activation 1 (linked to throttle) for landing gear up.
Activation 2 and VTOL slider down go into hover mode.
Activation 3 and VTOL down for bomb bay doors open.
Activation 4 to fire bomb bay missiles (maybe they are missile bays).
Activation 5 for new and improved wing mounted missiles.
For STOVL take off, Act 2 and VTOL slider not quite all the way down and around 13 to 16% throttle for best effect. When landing, VTOL slider all the way down and around 8% throttle.
For hovering there are no RCNs - just use the same thrust vectoring as in full flight during hover take-offs and landings, or just hover around the place at 80 to 160 mph.
Take-offs without STOVL activated is extreme. She launches directly 90 degrees up and one must keep the nose down during take off (or not, it doesn’t really matter). After initial launch she flies pretty much dead straight.
For performance enthusiasts, try a trench run at mach 1...

BTW, some long range fuel tanks provided - they will change the flight characteristics, so be warned! Activatioon 6 to jettison...

@LanceCombes Thanks!!!!
Flies straight and fast and looks cool too, good work!
This is not your best build. But i still love your use of the panels.
