Use the landing gear ALWAYS when landing. The skids are not for use on the runways but I have landed unharmed with just the skids before. The skids are mainly used to provide support when landing.

This isnt a B 18. The b 18 was square shaped. Also it was bolo, not polo
This didn't make it into the top three of the Polar Plane Challenge, but it was definitely one of the better entries. I liked the care you'd take with how it looks and the innovative skid steering.
