The G-9A Cougar is the first variant or type of the G-9 series.

development history

The G-9 was build in 1952. It's an aircraft build for fighter bomber role or multirole for the modern terms.

Because of its role as a Multirole fighter, the Cougar acts as Malei's main aircraft. Doing bombing missions as well as CAS and Air Superiority missions.

The fighter ability of the Cougar is subpar,as the maneouverbility is sluggish and the aircraft feels heavy, though it makes up for its speed.

Malei have around 2000 of it being combat ready and orders were places for another 500 aircraft

I know it's just a F9F panther, and yea I'm probably run out of ideas but TBH it's so unique I feel like I should add it on the challenge

Fun fact: early straight-winged F9F Panthers are really slow compared to the swept wing fighters like the MiG-15 or the F-86. Later swept-wing F9F Cougars are faster but was outshone by the FJ-4 Fury, the navy version of the F-86 Sabre.
