Northrop N9M

63.1k EpicPigster1  7.4 years ago

It's here! My second entry to the flying wing series, I present to you, the most realistic N9M on the entire site! Everything on this plane was built to a blueprint, and I started it from scratch despite it's similar shape to my first flying wing, which sucked at flying!

Massive thanks to @SledDriver for literally fixing the plane and making it fly, @General360 for giving me tips on flying wings, and @Tang0five and @randomusername for criticizing and helping me fix some weight and aesthetic issues! Check them out, these guys are awesome!

For those of you who don't know, the N9M was the precursor to the YB-35 that the USA ordered to test the radical concept. It was 60 ft wide, but mine is about 90 ft wide in 3:2 scale, making it my first plane that is larger than the real thing. It is painted in its original yellow color and features ultra realistic landing gear and non-clipping control surfaces.

I have an idea for a wing plane. My favorite, the B-2 North gumdrop Stealth Bomber.(I think that's what its called)
