Modern Twin Props Multirole
TRIM = TRIM
VTOL down = Aerodynamic brakes
AG1 + VTOL down = Aerodynamic brakes + hook
AG2 = Brakechute
AG7 = Release of external tanks
AG8 = Engine shutdown
G = Landing gear
B = Brakes on wheels
* AERODYNAMIC RESISTANCE *
Normally in SimplePlanes the landing gear and external loads make no big difference. In this model landing gear and external tanks are modified to create a great aerodynamic drag. If you want to fly fast, close the landing gear and unhook the tanks.
* FUEL *
The plane has 495 gallons of fuel, of which 164 in external tanks. It is very efficient, and even without external tanks the autonomy is quite long. With the external tanks the plane has a slight tendency to dive. It will take some TRIM.
* ARMAMENT *
6 machine guns in the snout (not modified, but positioned in order to increase the dispersion making it easier for the AI ??to hit the target)
6 sub-alar pylons
2 pylons at the wings tips
The configuration provided is only an example. The plane can carry a wide variety of loads, covering multiple roles.
NOTE: Missile pods can not be mounted under the wings. They can be mounted only at the wingtip end. Under the wings you can mount bombs, rockets, anti-aircraft missiles, tanks or whatever you want. Experience the behavior of the aircraft with the weight of various weapons.
Armed with air-to-air missiles is a terrible opponent even for the most advanced jets.
* COUNTERMEASURE *
Present both flare and chaf
* HOOK *
The hook is modified via XML to provide a very high friction with the track or bridge, simulating a hooking of the cable. It is very robust and holds the impact with the track.
* USAF SIGNS *
I do not remember who made the basic version, and released it as "free use". They are however modified quite heavily to adapt them to the 3D wings and to make them flat (they was a superimposition of planes of consistent thickness). They are also now weightless and without aerodynamic drag, to prevent the aircraft from having unpredictable behavior.
* TAKE OFF *
TRIM all down, 100% engines. Rotation at 120 MPh. Just in the air close the landing gear, and raise the TRIM. If the external tanks are present it will be necessary to raise it only by 80-90%, leaving a little.
* LANDING *
About 22% engines, VTOL all down, TRIM all down, landing gear lowered. On the track switch off the engines and glide gently. The race to stop the plane is very short, especially with the hook down. For emergencies use the parachute-brake.
* FLIGHT *
Intuitive, fast and insanely manageable does not require special instructions. I find this aircraft incredibly fun to fly.
(Relased for my birthday, my self gift)

@sandyshores io sono toscano, di livorno. Bentrovato. :)
@Baldovino sì, di Roma
@sandyshores Are you italian? Sei italiano?
@sandyshores Just relased.

@Baldovino I love this attention to the details (dovrai concedermi un po’ di sano patrittismo). Excellent job!
@sandyshores Thanks. I'm going to relase a new version with more realistic speed (litle bit less) and a lot of payloads more. More dettails, foldable wigns for carrier's hangar storage and some issue corrected. :) I relased this for my birthday, so I have a time finish line and cant do more.
congratulations, it’s a masterpiece
@Baldovino thank you mate!
@AviownCorp is the SimplePlanes spirit: Learn from other, apply to proper design mixing with own ideas, and improve. :) And you are doing a beautifull work.
@Baldovino even I copied your ideas! The use of Airfoils!
@AviownCorp i copied it
@Baldovino nice idea!
A modded mimigun vertically mounted, that does no damage @AviownCorp
@Baldovino how do you perform bullet casing eject?
@Sarin thanks
Amazing paint scheme n flight performance!
@ChaMikey Thanks
contra rotating double engine monoplane fighter, very beautiful
