History
The MV New Venus is a roll on/off passenger ferry owned by Ocean Network Line together with its sistership the MV New Neptune.She is currently serving Cebu-Cayagan De Oro-Jagna and Cebu-Ozamis-Iligan.
They were the former Sea Warrior and Sea Spirit of Roma Italia Lines a Italian based ferry company.Both ships were built in 1989 with 2 car decks and 2 passenger decks.They both sailed between Catania-Malta daily until 2023 when both were acquired by Ocean Network Line.
They then arrived in Feburary in 2024 and docked in the Ouano Wharf for their refitting process.The 2nd car deck was reconverted into 2 passenger accomadations which was economy and tourist class.
