Auto Credit Based on LimeAir's Flying Wing Challenge
The Horten Ho-229 was a jet-powered short range fighter-bomber designed during World War 2 by the German Horten Brothers. It was deployed at the final days of the war, but only 3 aircraft were built. The design was similar to the Horten HI.V. Because of the aircraft’s blended wing body and no propellers, it made the radar cross section smaller, making it stealth.

RATINGS:
Looks: 6/10 Some parts could be smoother and you could add some details like the luftwaffe roundel. Overall, it’s definitely not the worst looking plane I’ve seen.
Performance: 5/10 It’s about 1/3 as fast as the real Ho 229 but maneuvers quite well.
Submission: 9/10 Good thumbnail and some details about the aircraft’s history.
+1 point for being a replica.
OVERALL POINTS: 21/30
@LimeAir that’s generous. I am on holidays, and I don’t have access to a PC rn. Also you can’t add anything onto wings other than pylons
@Karroc9522 oh thx
@MarkMCraft darn, u win
@Karroc9522 adds chipped paint
@MarkMCraft yummy, extra flavor. A little bit of seasoning might help tho.......
@Karroc9522 jet fuel flavoured and paint coated Doritos
DORITOS
@LiterallyHim you’re not wrong
@MarkMCraft yes but when you're using stock square wings and you size up the thickness, their square shape is much more pronounced
@LiterallyHim the ho-229 is a blended wing body, meaning the wings blend into the body
@LiterallyHim hiding the wings is for cowards, you can like smothe wings if you like, but your methods are inferior to the efficient raw wings and just putting fuselage on the edges of the wings. The latter let's you have the beauty smooth wings and the efficiency of the raw wings
@C47skytrain Well the game is outdated and players are trying to make the most of it, and hiding the wings under fuselage pieces is just a way of making everything look nicer
@C47skytrain they also keep the part count low
@LiterallyHim wrong, raw wings are more beautiful than those ugly wing pretenders. I'd rather my plane look like it's from robloz then have those smooth pretenders dare cover it.
@LiterallyHim good luck.
@MarkMCraft I understand, I'll try making it myself
@LiterallyHim it was very hard making this plane
Cool plane but those thick square wings really don't look good
@MarkMCraft aw shucks
@HudDistance not anymore
