By 1943, the Third Reich was crumbling from the barrage of the Allied bombers. Desperate for pilots and interceptors, the Germans designed the 'Volksjäger' - built by civilians and flown by Hitler Youth teenagers. The design was small, fragile, awkwardly built around a single jet engine. An interceptor too fast for it's own good.
