Description
The Schooner is a single seat monoplane fighter used by the Bandits under the Eisberg Federation during the Reunification War. It had four machine guns located near the wing root which served as its only armament. Because the Bandits mostly used outdated parts from smuggled wreckage, the engine lacked an interrupter gear which resulted in 90 percent of the possibly 6000 Schooners built to be lost with only 146 kills achieved. Still, it continued to serve Bandit forces until the Man of War jet fighter went into service in 1952.
