As a Cheaper Alternative to the SX-69, Alnas began developing the Aircraft in tandem to the SX-69; Data from the SX-69 Program was used in quickly developing the the Hexe, After the Planning Stage, it had its first flight in Early 2019, And entered mass production in 2023, with around 2,500 Units to be Built. The Aircraft also could be used to test out new weapons for Alnas. The SX-79 has also been developed in that its internal structure and parts are simple enough that other nations could easily operate it. After several months, the First Aircrafts that rolled off the Production line were pressed into Service in 2024.

As a complete surprise and coincidence, both your SX-79 and SX-69 ended up with 114/130 points. I personally liked the SX-69 more so I added that one to the top 10.
