With little else to spare, the colonists of Parable cobbled this beast out of early models of the M808 Scorpions, adopting the 90mm gun while improving the chasis and turret design.
Unlike the M808, the M101 features a three man crew, 1 coaxial 12.7mm machine gun, and a remote operated 12.7mm chaingun mounted on top of the turret. The M101 is about ten miles faster than the Scorpion M808 (45 mph vs 33 mph, respectively) and far more manueverable.
