S.O.Vre Starchild IV

(Oops, I forgot to test out the folding wings and it turns out that they were bugged. This one fixes that.)

The S.O.Vre Starchild IV is a supersonic, carrier-capable light interceptor utilizing two BFE300s. It's over 1.2 kilograms lighter than the Starchild III with over 300 lbs more fuel, affording it more range and even better acceleration and range than its predecessor. Both planes are similarly armed, each with 12 air-to-air missiles, but I added two extra rotary cannons to the Starchild IV for even more firepower. If you so desire, there is more than enough space to add more dakka.

Based on raw performance alone, this is my best plane to date, and I hope you enjoy flying it!

The sample here is dressed in Canarvian Royal White (basically an approximation of the gorgeous livery painted on the Avro Arrows.)

Note: Because of how they're mounted, I would advise not to try pulling off a super fast roll while launching a missile. From experience, it may be a really good way to blast off into space at mach 10.

Note 2: To land on the Beast, the optimal speed is between 270-300km/h (174-186mph.)

VTOL slider - folding wings. Neutral position is flight-ready. Bottom position is folded down, though I'm not sure why you would want to do that. Top position is folded up.

1 - arresting hook

5 - anti-collision lights

6 - landing and taxi light

7 - navigation lights
