6x Smoke Grenade: Internal 40mm grenade launcher. Lays a temporary smoke screen. It can also damage lightly armored targets and personnel.

2x Energy Cannon: Mecha pistol for armored targets. Powered by an internal power cell, producing up to 60 bolts. Depression is limited by the leg armor plates.

4x ATGM: Heavy guided missiles for armored targets.

Reverse slide and smoke grenade operation.

Dev Notes: Study of mecha designs. The subject is mainly FA and HG designs. NieR:Automata and MGR:R have some influence on the design and handling of this machine. The bad parts of my construction methods still remain, I'll have to fix them.

INFORMATION

The AM-72 IMPASSE is a heavily armored combat walker. It is used to defend installations or provide support for infantry. Its most prominent feature is the pair of large armor plates mounted onto the upper legs. While it is far from the tallest walker, its wall-like appearance remains imposing even in urban environments.

Due to its heavy armor, the machine marches at a slow pace compared to soldiers on foot. However, it can utilize backwards-facing rocket engines to perform a reverse slide, and reach speeds of up to 30 km/h. This is most useful for tactical retreats. It may also be used to travel faster, but the effectiveness of the leg armor will be lost.
