[M-War II] Izumo-class DDH MRNS Sumire Uesaka (M-War II Spec)

117k LunarEclipseSP  one month ago
Auto Credit Based on LunarEclipseSP's [Monarchii] Izumo-class DDH MRNS Sumire Uesaka

Description might could actually updated sometimes

Either to fix up some typos, mistyping, lack of words, or adding some new components

Update 1.0

  • Slight nerfed, reduced the explosion scale of the torpedo. It is too large for such a lightweight torpedo, making it quite unrealistic.

Overview

The MRNS Sumire Uesaka is a Monarchii Izumo-class helicopter destroyer. She is a helicopter carrier that has been converted into a light aircraft carrier. Its high speed and maneuverability allow the ship to quickly gain tactical positions and strike from unexpected places. The M-War II Spec, a refitted version of MRNS Sumire Uesaka made to adapt in Monarchii War II, with specification of upgraded engine for better speed, mobility and maneuverability, enchanced and new weapons, and other improvements.

History

Nothing much known about the ship, but she is known to be one of the few notable Izumo-class destroyers of Monarchii Royal Navy. Sumire Uesaka is also the notable assets of Monarchii which is still survived until this time, even when the mysterious event occurred, she is still remains with some other survivors of the event while the rest were vanished during that mysterious event and nobody knows what the heck that was. A 'quiet rapture' maybe? Who knows that....

Regroup with Skypark and MDA (TC-War/TB-War involvement)

The known Monarchii fleet left which is managed to survived. The Assault Landing Ship Kaori Miyazono, helicopter carrier Sumire Uesaka, and supercarrier Tsuchii Yuusha pre-Siren War. Currently joined in both MDA and Sky Park fleet

The last remaining Monarchii fleet left during the unknown phenomenon where the Monarchiians including the Whimsy him/herself were mysteriously vanished during post-Monarchii War I are decided to regroup and joined both MDA and Sky Park Fleet. Sumire Uesaka with the other remaining fleets then deployed and participated in TB-War to serve the MDA and their allies to fight against the rogue, hostile T.B. Force, a continuation from the previous warfare known as the TC-War

During the climax of TC-War, as a shocking news comes out where the Rogue Nation of "Typo" was losing their mind and nuked Snowstone, turning them into a barren, snowy land. This eventually triggers an all-out warfare between the alliance and the rogue nation, the war continues and the event is known as TB-War. Sumire Uesaka along with the other fleets were joining the alliance Fleets and provides extra support to the alliance force to obliterate Typo with no sign of mercy in an relentless onslaught. After the chaotic fight, shortly after, TypoA declares surrender for real (while previously he was rumoured to faking his own surrender and still resist) after they were outnumbered and overwhelmed by the strong power from the alliance forces. The Typo was accused for fake surrender, terrorism, misuse of nuclear weapons, and more. In short, the treaty was signed and both Snowstone and MDA declared victorious in the war. Eventually, TypoA who has been repented has becoming ally to Snowstone and reform themself as the Imperial Industries.

Monarchii War II

Undergoing refit

MRNS Sumire Uesaka prior to upgrade, original specification.

At some point during pre-M-War II, a decision was made to upgrade and refit this ship with enhanced armaments. Later after the decision has made and everyone agrees with it, she was undergoing refit at REDACTED shipyard in REDACTED, but was reported finished ahead of schedule and was announced to again be in service with the REDACTED Fleet. In early 2025, Monarchii News Network reported that the ship had begun factory sea trials. After the ship has passed the trial, the refit of MRNS Sumire Uesaka has officially completed.

Monarchii War II

"IT'S SHOWTIIIIIMEEEE!!!!!"

With the completion of the refit, the Monarchii Royal Navy announced and introduced the "M-War II Spec". An upgraded variant with advanced armaments and extra equipments, the M-War II Spec was made in order to complies with the latest Rules, regulations and standards, as well as adapt in the warfare environment in Monarchii War II. The specification of this upgraded spec equipped with even more upgraded air defenses from the standard spec for a longer lock-range. The M-War Spec added 4 Oerlikon Millenium 35mm auto-cannons to deal damage to the enemy ships when the close-quarter battle occurred. Some air defense placement has also been re-arranged for the placement of the auto-cannons. The default Mark 48 torpedoes has been replaced with Type 12 lightweight torpedoes for better anti-submarine capability, and the RUR-5B ASROC launcher has also been upgraded too. For the on-deck aircraft, it still carries 4 units of SH-60 Seahawk helicopters, but they also replaced the AV-8B Harrier II Plus with the F-35B Lightning II stealth fighter, a perfect choice for the naval strike fighter aircraft with VTOL capability for vertical or short take-off and landing. The MQ-9 Reaper drone has also been enhanced into MK2 for better speed, fuel, and endurance, it also equipped with enhanced combat sensors as well.

Crew Members

MRNS Sumire Uesaka is crewed with official crew members and some volunteers from the alliances. She is captained by Captain Ryutaro Akimitsu, a former Monarchii Royal Air Force ace pilot with unusual achievements who is appointed as the captain, and Tatsuya Sinaba as the deputy commander and chief navigator.

Take-off

  • You are on VTOL mode by default
  • Full throttle.
  • Once it is high enough, retract your landing gear to turn off VTOL mode and fly like normal

Trivia

  • The ship namesake was named after Sumire Uesaka, the voice actress of HMS Warspite from Azur Lane, which is being a mascot character of Monarchii.
  • Sumire is also known to be voicing Nonna from Girls Und Panzer and Hayase Nagatoro from Nagatoro Series. And currently, she is voicing Alya Mikhailovna from Roshidere.
  • The ship herself is likely take an inspiration from the movie/manga series Aircraft Carrier Ibuki (Kuubo Ibuki), especially it even got some similar traits, influence, and reference to the series itself:

    • Captain Ryutaro Akimitsu appears to be based on his movie counterpart, Ryuta Akitsu, portrayed by Hidetoshi Nishijima which is a captain of the aircraft carrier in the movie itself. It also shares a same traits to the movie counterpart well.

    • Deputy Tatsuya Sinaba, in the other hand is based on Toshiya Shinba/or Toshiya Niinami you called it, portrayed by Kuranosuke Sasaki, both cast shares a same traits and reference for each other.

  • Some casts are based on some certain users of SP Website.
  • This ship is an upgraded variant from the previous ship (see the predecessor or the variants section).
  • The flag is based on the flag of Indonesian Naval Jack.
  • MRNS Sumire Uesaka, as an Izumo-class, is a Japanese aircraft carrier. Originally a helicopter-carrying destroyer which has been converted into a light carrier to operates VTOL-based fighter jets such as F-35B Lightning II.
  • The helmet visor of the volunter pilot Robert "Jolly' McIntyre somehow resembles the face of Koro-sensei.

Creator's note:

  • My first submission of Monarchii War II. Actually nothing so special with this ship, just an upgraded and improved version of the same ship from the previous version.
  • This ship was made as well to add some lore and role to this ship, as this ship might play less role in SP warfare story.
