Description
The Pan Industries Singa is an Singaporean single-seat, twin-engine, all-weather stealth tactical fighter aircraft developed for the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF). As the result of the RSAF's Advanced Stealth Tactical Fighter (ASTF) program, the aircraft was designed as an air superiority fighter, but also has ground attack capabilities.
The Singa first flew in 2022 and will enter service with the Republic of Singapore Airforce in June 2023. The aircraft will be delivered to the Royal Malaysian Air Force in 2029, Royal Thai Air Force in 2032 and Royal Brunei Air Force in 2039 as it's first fighter. The U.S. plans to buy 226 Singa's through 2048, which will represent the bulk of the crewed tactical aviation of the U.S, Singaporean, Thai, Malaysian and Bruneian air forces for several decades; the aircraft is planned to be a cornerstone of NATO, Pacific Allience when Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand join and U.S.-allied air power and to operate until 2090.
