Interceptor-class Hydrofoil
Instructions
Tested on highest physics settings. Results may vary with lower settings. Throttle for waterjets. Yaw to steer boat. (1) + Pitch/Roll to control 30mm Mk 85 cannon. LandingGear to activate hydrofoil mode. Foils will retract upon loading into game. Propellers will automatically start when deployed.
Summary
The Interceptor-class missile is a Paternian hydrofoil missile boat designed by KRIEG. After the Battle of the Arctic Ocean, the Paternian Navy saw the value of missile boats in coastal defensive operations. It previously relied on larger frigates for such duties, but such vessels were still quite vulnerable to swarming missile boat attacks. Coupled with the security concerns in the Sea of Japan and Okhotsk Sea, a high-speed vessel that can pass through minefields was desired.
The solution was a hydrofoil, and KRIEG put forth their experience in hydrofoils to build such a vessel. The result was the Interceptor-class missile boat. The formal classification of this vessel is PHM; Patrol, Hydrofoil, Missile.
Characteristics
The Interceptor-class is armed with four HSLAM-series anti-ship missiles and a 30mm M15 revolver cannon in a remote Mk 85 mount, the 86-foot (26-meter) craft could pose a significant threat to much larger and more expensive warships.
The vessel is capable of a top speed of 112 knots with foils deployed, and 35 knots with waterjets.
Crewed by 10 sailors (2 officers, 8 enlisted), the type is employed in coastal security duties in Alaska, Japan, and Korea.

@Pilotmario I have a trimaran hydrofoil battleship to be uploaded sometime soon
@Speedhunter The Interceptor is the older sis.
@Pilotmario so this is newer
@Speedhunter She's the older sister.
@RocCrafter101 PHM Athene's sister
@RocCrafter101 Eh. SP Physics are wonky as they are.
I believe it would be more like around 50-60 Knots speed like the Sparviero-class patrol boat it was based off of. I would go for water jets instead of propellers for faster speeds.
@JangoTheMango Thanks.
We don’t have them patrolling every inch of coastline.
They’re mainly stationed in more confined waters, where larger warships could be isolated and destroyed.
@PyrusEnderhunter
You say that it swarms targets, yet you only have 80 combined warships?
i like it very much d:
@jandjairlinz Thanks!
Nice build!
@Jetliner101 Yes, but I ensured that it can't do it without modifications.
