Peregrine Aegir Class Frigate
I introduce you to the culmination of Peregrine's (previously extremely limited) Nautical knowledge! It's lean, mean, and... mobile friendly?
Aegir (pronounced “EYE-geer;” Old Norse Ægir) is basically the norse god of the seas.
Oh yeah, that's not a Czech flag. It's a long story.
The Aegir Class Frigate carries:
8x long-range Surface to Air "Interceptor" missiles,
6x short-range Surface to Air "Guardian" missiles,
4x long-range Surface to surface anti-ship "Cleaver" missiles,
10x close range surface to surface "Inferno" missiles.
As well as a fully functional cannon and countermeasures.
This ship uses the @50Airworks VLS system and the 50Airworks / @Datom ship hull. It also utilizes a modified M. Corp (@EternalDarkness) front turret.
Controls:
Throttle for throttle
Roll to steer
Trim to elevate/depress target radar (AG 8) and turret (AG 1)
VTOL to steer target radar (AG 8) and turret (AG 1)
AG 1 allows use of the turret, turn off AG 8 when in use.
AG 8 toggles on and off control of the ship and target radar. (including steering and thrust).
AG 2 turns on night vision
Camera 1 is for the gun turret
IF MISSILES DO NOT LAUNCH CORRECTLY: get closer to your target before firing.
NOTE:
The SBRU-XII Target Boresight Radar Unit should be aimed at the desired target, plane, ship, or otherwise, before attempting to attain missile lock (it contains the cockpit). It's the rectangular-prism-turret-thing with no gun at the front of the ship behind the gun turret.
This is my first full-on warship build. Have any constructive criticism? Please share! I seriously value any advice!
I changed the name because 'Neptune' is a name for basic ships and this ship is way too cool for that
Enjoy!

@Wahoo12 ohhh that explains much
@GeneralGoldyYT might want to read the description, line 6
Why does it have the flag of a country who has no access to the sea?
@asteroidbook345 Check This Link to see export options. You've gotta be a class two ally for an Aegir class frigate
@SeanTurbineModifier what?
@50Airworks thanks! It's my first in over two years
Congrats on the feature!
@Mijmaj it works on my Iphone
not mobile friendly
Thanks! Without your hull it wouldn't have happened @50Airworks
This looks great!
They were having trouble firing for me, sometimes they would fly roght, sometimes they'd just fall. @EternalDarkness
Edit: If having trouble with missiles launching, get closer to the target. They will fire correctly then.
Good job man!
@Wahoo12 it's probably the distance. Cleavers have a minimum range. I fired them four miles from USS Beast, and every missile scored a hit.
@EternalDarkness Thanks! Were the cleaver missiles working for you? They seemed rather unreliable during testing but I couldn't pinpoint the problem.
Nice work. Design looks Russian, and more akin to a corvette (due to size). It's also quite pleasurable to sail.
Sure! Just make an unlisted post, and the Navy can take over from there! @Wahoo12
@Strikefighter04 Peregrine can produce three over the course of one and a half years. You'll have to build your own missiles and radar though, that stuff is classified.
Why thank you! We value your kindness to SimpleLandia, and hope we can acquire some frigates. @Wahoo12
@Strikefighter04 Peregrine Concept values its exporting ability, if you'd like any of these fine ships for the SimpleLandian Navy we can work something out
No problem comrade! @Wahoo12
@Strikefighter04 Thanks!
Wow! Very impressive!
