Auto Credit Based on Pilotmario's Dragoon MWAV

Pitch and Roll to control direction. VTOL and Trim to lay weapons. (1) activates mortar. (2) activates rear ramp and roof hatches. (3) activates water propulsion. The M1155 Dragoon Mortar Carrier is a Paternian 120mm mortar carrier. A variant of the Dragoon MWAV, it is similar to previous mortar carriers in that it employed a standard infantry mortar within a modified vehicle. In Paternian doctrine, a mortar carrier differs from a self-propelled mortar in that the main armament can be dismounted and employed separately from the vehicle, while a self-propelled mortar's main armament cannot be dismounted and employed separately.

The proposed self-propelled mortar is a twin-gun autoloading system. @YuukaNeko

@Stellarlabs It only looks small because it's stuck onto a substantially larger vehicle.

@Pilotmario I mean the diameter of the gun. How does this thing be 120mm and be small while the french carrier has a 150mm?

@Stellarlabs This thing has more armor in the back than that artillery piece has in the front.

@Stellarlabs That's built off the Lorraine 37L, a French 6-ton tracked munitions carrier, with the barest minimum armor and a 70hp engine.

This is derived from a Swiss MOWAG Piranha, an amphibious 20-ton 8x8 wheeled armored personnel carrier with enough armor to withstand 30mm APDS automatic cannon ammunition and a 300hp engine.

Not sure how they measure mortars or anything but that does not look 120mm.... more 90mm or 70mm.
