See you next Tournament....Mate
Valkyrie
@Valkyrie A tip of building neat and powerful planes...
VARIABLE PITCH
Set the pitch control to manual, make it respond to throttle, and set the pitch range scale to 75%. This gives better acceleration (as you can see my plane accelerates very fast... 400-750mph in 5 seconds.)
WING LOADING.
Aim for a very low wing loading (20.0lb/sq.ft) because, as the all powerful WIKIPEDIA says,
"Lower wing loading, more maneuverability in pitch."
That is why I made thick, staggered biplane wings so the wing loading is around 17lbs/sq.ft.
Vertical stabilizers may be important, but rudders are not. Why not use the rudders to slap big fat ailerons? This is also beneficial, so the main wing has more elevator than aileron.
Well those are my three tips for the next competition mate.
Cheers.

@Valkyrie I have no problem with speed, maneuverability is the main problem.
