I present to you the new and improved Wolverine Main Battle Tank, upgraded for maximum butt kicking potential

History

The M7A2 variant was conceived following experiments to arm the Wolverine with a 130mm Cannon. The experiments had proved that the larger cannon would massively increase the overall killing power of Wolverine. The program would face heavy pushback from politicians as new vehicles were costly and the old variants could not be upgraded to A2 Standard. Eventually the program would move forth and the tank would come to replace most other M7s in service. The tank would see mostly limited export service due to the largely classified systems, though a upgraded A2 designed for export would soon begin development.

Design

The M7A2 is largely similar to other M7 variants, but upon closer inspection a large amount of design changes can be spotted. The A2 uses a new 130mm cannon and Fire Control System. The A2 is protects by a new set of ERA blocks placed in critical locations, and a set of Slat armor placed around the engine deck. Many subsystems of the Wolverine have been upgraded and or replaced.
