Auto Credit Based on Typhoon03's Observation Helicopter Challenge (Closed!)
this is the H-57 recon helicopter, this was a special design for a helicopter with it's rotors one over the other and without a tail rotor, this helicopter flew in many missions, and was very successful in destroying tanks, planes, and other helicopters, unfortunately due to very expensive parts this helicopter was not in service for more than 2 years, there where only 372 made and only 28 are still functional.
CONTROLS:
AG1 To open doors,
AG2 to activate weapons,
AG8 for gyroscope (keep on!)
VTOL up to lift,
Trim up to move foreword.
ARMAMENT:
4x Unguided Rockets,
2x miniguns,
2x rocket pod.

@Freerider2142 thank you so much, that means a lot to me
I'll be honest, doesn't look the best, and it shows you don't have much experience with helicopters (especially with the lack of Yaw control...)
But this helicopter is not bad!
I've flown worse helicopters by much "better" builders.
Looks don't matter to me that much, I care about functionality and that a creation fills the role it's meant to.
You got the weight and balance pretty good, and the flight model isn't bad.
IMO Flying with Gyro on kind'a sucks...But Gyro Off this thing is pretty good and reacts pretty close to how a helicopter should, I think this is a great start.
I like the Idea with the doors and Gunners, and I think that with time you'll be able to make something crazy with that ;)
@TheFantasticTyphoon thank you, I was proud of the hatches, I have done the hatches before, but with planes instead of helicopters.
@lilgreen06
Well, you can only improve. I was impressed by the hatches.
@TheFantasticTyphoon ok well I was just experimenting with the helicopter thing, so I am not shocked.
@lilgreen06
Not really, I'm afraid.
@TheFantasticTyphoon thank you does it fly well?
@lilgreen06
Those hatches certainly do!
@TheFantasticTyphoon does it work well?
