The plane doesn’t respond to my inputs half the time and only wants to roll to the left, especially after takeoff and the climb and descent are absolutely horrible and only improve when you’re in a nosedive or about to stall
@ChiChiWerx Thanks very much! I quite like the swordfish too and that sounds like an interesting and active squadron to be in!
@Datom Thank you!
Nice, I like your execution of the classic Stringbag! I once read a great account of the Swordfish squadron that went into action against the Scharnhorst, Gneisenau and Prinz Eugen during the Channel Dash (unfortunately cannot remember the name of the book). Anyway, have loved the Swordfish ever since.
@FranticMatty Thanks!
@shipster Okay then lol, and congrats on 30 followers!
@Datom I know, I just sometimes put the brackets and parentheses in the wrong spots. XD and thank you for being my 30th follower!
@Datom no problem. I'm glad you managed to use it well.
@Datom thx
@shipster Btw I checked out your bio, if you want to add a link for something then you put “[insert word here]” followed by brackets with the URL e.g. “(https://www.simpleplanes.com/u/shipster)” WITHOUT a space and it should work - feel free to try it out here :) Nice profile picture comic btw! Lmao
@communisticbanana Haha btw love your bio lol
@shipster Fair enough, and thanks!
Great plane by the way!
@communisticbanana Thanks!
@PositivePlanes Not a bad idea...🤔 (and thanks btw)
@Datom XD no problem! I just didn't want you to get in trouble with him/her.
@EternalDarkness Thanks very much and again thanks for the torpedo, you’ve no idea how much I needed one of these!
@F104Deathtrap @ThomasRoderick Very true both of you.
@shipster Oh I didn’t know that, I nicked it off SR’s eindecker lol
The creator of those shell ejecting guns was Kimcotupan15
@ThomasRoderick Agreed. Hitler was a fool to build capital ships for commerce raiding. Those boats could have been dozens (hundreds?) of uboats.
@F104Deathtrap That said, the real killers of Bismarck are two British battleships and half a dozen other ships... The only difference the swordfish made is to slow Bismarck down enough for the Royal Navy to chase it down and turn it into swiss cheese with their cannons... Royal Navy outnumbered and outgunned their German counterpart in both world wars.
The Swordfish and the Bismarck, the ultimate David and Goliath story.
This turned out quite well.
nice!
