I TRIED TO TELL YALL THAT THE THUNDER SERIES WOULDNT BE GONE FOR THAT LONG!
lol
So, this is a new Thunder series aircraft. I call it the Thunder II, though the test pilots called it the Rocketeer. I started this aircraft back in.......... Uh..... Lemme check my 2024 SP Calend. d... SEPTEMBER?!?!?!?! Yes, I originally started this project as Project "Electro Wave". Project "Electro Wave" would use Fire beyond horizon or FBH systems to guide missiles. It would send electromagnetic signals to the Ozone, bounce them off, and then use those beams to guide the HVLREM-1 (High Velocity Long Range Electromagnetic Missile). The other project incorporated into this was Project "Fire Beam". Project "Fire Beam" was a missile system that would use a 360° IRST searcher in the back to find the target the launch the High-Speed Chase missile, this would eventually lead to the "SRHMAM-1" (Short Range Hyper Maneuverability Air Missile). These two missile systems is why you need two people running the aircraft to make sure that everything is working fine because these are huge systems. It also comes equipped with a gunpod that can be switched for a Cordium bomb or a Sencencium bomb.

FIRST
YES THE USA USES FBH SAMS A WITH FBH RADAR
@KPLBall So in short...
Both?
Both.
Both is good.
@TheUltimatePlaneLover true, but speed also helps and IRL you can't flare a radar guided missile
@KPLBall Aight
The C2 does have an extra advantage though, it's trailless unless launched in slow motion (weird ahh physics) so it should be virtually impossible to see by the naked eye
@TheUltimatePlaneLover ah, probably better in most aspects then but limited to AA
@KPLBall S-25M is the standard one most of our aircraft use, it’s basically just the normal S-25 but capable of being an ATGM and AAM.
S-25M-C2 is the most recent one which so far has only been used by the new F-33A-50 and Le Tonk Mk.V
@TheUltimatePlaneLover the what now?
All I know of is FRCM?
Either way it might be cooked
@KPLBall I see
But compared to the S-25M or S-25M-C2?
@SomeSPGuyWhoLikesLore I thought the same thing when I made this
@TheUltimatePlaneLover @MIGFOXHOUND31BSM26 so this HVLREM-1 missiles are longer range than the FRCM and are faster, while the SRHMAM-1 is faster and more maneuverable but don't lock as fast
