The GiltRay is solar powered but bio-engeneered plankton is the heart of the system. Thanks to a hearty helping of electric eel DNA this plankton can turn sunlight directly into electricity. The wings contain transparent tanks constantly circulating nutrients and oxygen to the organisms. VTOL down to lower the pontoons.
