Dominus
The Volotok VCC-1000 Dominus, designated as the C-1000B in the Brazilian Air Force, is a military cargo aircraft introduced in 1980 and renowned as the largest cargo plane ever built. With an extraordinary length of 132.7 meters and a wingspan of 133 meters, this eight-engine behemoth was designed to transport massive payloads, including tanks, helicopters, and large humanitarian aid packages. Only five units were produced, making it a rare and iconic asset of the Brazilian Air Force. Despite its colossal size, the Dominus is known for its stability and impressive range, capable of supporting strategic missions across continents, cementing Brazil’s logistical dominance in the global military aviation sphere.
