WW2 British fighter. It has no front-firing guns, only gun turret! One of the symbols of British Humor! AG1: pull down the fuselage behind the turret

i never implied that the defiant was crap, it is actually one of my favourite ww2 planes.
@Avivspitfire i didnt say the defiant was crap. the defiant was only build to attack bombers that the luftwaffe had (but scrapped before the war even started) and therefore the bf109 incident sounds fictional but still the defiant has such a siluette that the chance of mistake ot for another plane is very low (the french had a plane that looked like bf110 but was even worse that the 110. some french pilots attacke their own planes because of this and the mustang looks similar to a bf109 from certain angles).
@Irobert55 ok firstly the he111 wasn't even one of the fastest bombers in the Luftwaffe the ju88 was faster the 111 couldn't go above 300 mph when it was designed it was fast compared to the biplane fighters of the early 1930s but the new monoplane fighters could easily outrun it at 350 mph also the defiant vs 109 incident I found in a book written by a defiant pilot who took part in the incident so please do your research before incorrectly saying someone is wrong
@Avivspitfire this is probably a myth caused by a british officer that sayd they look like hurricanes (or spitfires) from a distance (the guy wasnt even a pilot). they have a bigger caviat on their hands: at least one he111 was taken down by them and at this point the he111 was one of the fastest planes around.
Its not that bad, on one mission a sqadron of these shot down 6 me 109s because the 109s mistook them for hurricanes and when they attacked from behind they were caught off gaurd and were annihilated
Hardly lol @AnOlympicWalnut
Ah yes, the best aircraft of World War 2
4am. Thats the time my son usually chooses to start his day... @otayahiromo8211
@GhostHTX Thank you! I posted F6F, so I hope you will enjoy it too! Now I have a sleep (it is 4 a.m. in Japan now!).
No! No problem at all! I like your model very much - the Defiant worked well as a theory, but in reality it was a death trap. @otayahiromo8211
Great build of one of the more rarer breeds on sp, bravo! Yeah the concept was there but they used the same merlin engine and all that extra weight and drag gave it poor performance. I remember reading somewhere the only real defence against 109s was to form a circle, thus offering mutual defence and to lose height to nullify the weakness from below. Great stuff!
@ChiChiWerx I am relieved to see your comment, thanks!
@otayahiromo8211 I disagree with you one the Zero though, it's a beautiful fighter no matter what...
@otayahiromo8211 @GhostHTX is not criticizing your description, he really likes your build, as do I! Nice build, flies delightfully well and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Defiant here before, well done!
@GhostHTX I am sorry if you mind my description. I dont mean to insult Britain. Japan, my country, made many crap weapon such as Ouka, a human bomb, Kaiten, a human torpedo and so on during WW2. Even Zero fighter might be a crap one!
It could be locked in a forward facing position in flight and fire control given to the pilot. Still a spectacularly crap fighter, though. Nice model! @otayahiromo8211
@horatio Really? I didnt know that
The turret of the defiant could turn 180° to face forward
