Armoured Vehicle v3.0
Recommend to use Advance Targeting MOD (But not essential)
Main Controls:
- Throttle = forward, AG6 reverse.
- Roll = left/right
- Yaw = Turret left/right
- Trim = raise lower gun/turret.
- AG1 = Turn on weapon and turret systems.
- AG2 = lock/un-lock turret (on by default)
- In game weapons system - Boom50s for projectiles and FireGuns for support machine gun.
Groups
- AG3 = launch drone.
- AG4 = open doors.
- AG5 = Raise snorkel.
- AG6 = reverse.
- LandingGear = hand-brake/outriggers.
Cameras:
- Cockpit = turret view - targeting.
- Camera 1 = Driver.
- Camera 2 = Drone.
Aiming:
When aiming over long distances, lock the turret and use VTOL for turret traverse, and AG8 off for fine Trim / gun elevation. Point the gun in the right direction first.
Drone:
The drone maintains neutral altitude. The idea is to take it to a location to aid in aiming main gun.
- AG3 to launch.
- Landing-gear to hold the vehicle.
- Pitch = forward/reverse
- VTOL = pitch up/pitch down.
- Roll = left/right.
Hunting:
Use the drone to find the enemy. The gun can reach over 30 to 40kms but does need the drone and the Advance Targeting MOD to make it fun.
You can take out all enemies on Maywar Island, the ships at Wright Isles, The fleet near Krakabola (start at Bandit airport and be quick because the fleet quickly gets out of range), and the enemies at snowstone (use rapid fire to destroy the missile silos to over power the lasers).
At Maywar, I normally start near the Pyramid, LandingGear on, release the Drone and head towards the race track on a steep climb. You will be able to spot any enemy along the way, if none, then circle around the Island and as long as tank and truck column are not directly behind a mountain, you will be able to take them out.
Note: It can take 30 seconds for a projectile to reach its target and at long distances the predictor does not operate and therefore allowing for a 30 second flight time manually is needed. I normally lay a number of rounds along the path of the vehicle column or vessels path.
- 15 seconds for Wright airport to USS Beast (this is with the predictor range).
- 20 seconds from the 3 Pyramids to windmill farm.
- 30 Seconds for Bandit airport to Pacific Fleet.
Also, if firing from moving vehicle be careful not to shoot too low, as these are Boom50s and a close explosion will destroy your vehicle.
Features:
Note 2: Most of the features I have used from other users, the wheels however are mine :)
- Originally it was going to have 60 shells, however that was over 400 parts, so we have 30.
- Shell ejection, Muzzle flash, Recoil, 2 axis stabilised.
- Sustained and stable rapid fire.
- Self alignment turret lock mechanism (by Leehopard) AG1, Turret lock AG2
- Engine exhaust smoke effect.
- Snorkel - keep it above the water and she will still operate.
- High speed hover drone.
- Mil sight by Snowflake.
- Direction indicators for navigation from turret view.
General build notes:
- The gyros are great for the axis stabilisation, however they play havoc if you are driving on a slope and can even effect rollovers from sharp turns. This was addressed by balancing the gyro power and dropping the sideways traction on the tyres.
- If you are on a slope, gravity will prevail, so the turret even with the gyros on, will rotate - heaviest side to the lowest point and therefore a lock system was needed.
- For Yaw/lateral rotation, a gyro does not need to be actually on / spinning, just max out the Yaw power.
- A gyro at right angle is used to stabilise the turret for lateral traverse.This can be maxed out to provide super stability, however the vehicle won’t drive correctly, especially on slopes as it will always be level.
- I originally used magnets to try and lock the turret, however when I fired a round they 'reset' and did not lock the turret requiring deactivation and reactivation of turret lock.
- Over 1100 parts - hell yeah!

@SpiritusRaptor How you make the drone?
hey man please can you make YAK-141 , MIG 1.44 and some other underrated airplanes like these
I thought this was an RV
Why
Okay thanks @SpiritusRaptor
You can use the advanced targeting mod, but its only as an option.
@ThatOneF15Eagle
Hey SR, can you please make a new Eurofighter Typhoon version?
@SpiritusRaptor does it require any external mods? Or are there no mods required?
@SpiritusRaptor yes
Thanks... are you on mobile?
@ShermanFirefly
@SpiritusRaptor oh, ok. also, not a complaint, but the wheels seem to glitch out from time to time, and when it does it just shakes then entire build. Again, not a complaint, it’s just a thing I noticed
AG2 off, ir works fine, its just the user with the issue
@ShermanFirefly
Turret does rotate, it just doesn’t move when I want it to, and it does when I don’t want it to.
Like a remote camera.... its for targets out of line-of-sight - see pictures (just added)
@ArcturusAerospace
How does the drone aid in targeting?
commando
DARN GOOD
Sure:)
@WarHawk95
The hill looks line the one of a VAB TOP (Véhicule de l'Avant Blindé, Front Armored Vehicle -> a french Armored Vehicle)
Cool
Nice
