The Doolittle Raid, also known as the Tokyo Raid, was an air raid on 18 April 1942 by the United States on the Japanese capital Tokyo and other places on Honshu during World War II.

Sixteen B-25B Mitchell medium bombers were launched without fighter escort from the U.S. Navy's aircraft carrier USS Hornet deep in the Western Pacific Ocean, each with a crew of five men. The plan called for them to bomb military targets in Japan and to continue westward to land in China.

    I HIT THEIR LEADER WITH A Ki-61!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I spawned them in midair and took off in a Ki-61 and shot their leader and set the engine on fire! And some of the others fell from the sky!!!!!!!!

    Whom dare to stand and face a greater enemy directly is a true hero, which hellsey and his like will never match.
    BTW gun turret should be on stern part of main fuselage on model B-25B which was used in doolittle raid. the movie used a wrong model

    I recommend doing a search for B – 25s in simpleplanes. There are quite a few to choose from. Pick the one that your equipment can handle best.@TheBlyatful1941

    Most of the planes crashed or bailed out over water and on china and Japanese land as they took off from carrier and ran out of fuel
